• Initiated a gang truce and cease fire agreement between rival ganges in Los Angeles, resulting in a significant reduction in gang-related homicides;
• Funded an ice cream truck route for a community housing complex, Crenshaw District, Los Angeles, sponsired by the Magic Johnson Foundation;
• Funded an Inter-agency Internship for inner city youth, sponsored by Ralph Food for Less Foundation;
• Provided funding for the annual anniversaries of the Watts Gang Truce, Los Angeles;
• Provided funding for the Annual Women's classes in Venice and South Central Los Angeles, sponsored by the Herb Alpert Foundation;
• Provided funding for the purchase of T-shirts for the annual "Bridging the Gap" conference at California State University in Los Angeles;
• Funded Amer-I-Can Program training at the Kedren Community Health Center, Watts and Los Angeles; and
• Sponsored the adult and youth All Star Basketball Teams (I-Can) in various leagues, resulting in several participants being recruited by major universities.
