Since its inception in 1988, Amer-I-Can has conducted operations in the following states:
California: training in state and county adult and juvenile institutions, probation camps, schools, federal, state, and local police departments, educational facilities, and housing developments
Colorado: trained community residents, high school students, and correctional inmates
Connecticut: trained at 6 high schools state-wide
Florida: worked with state juvenile authorities, "Operation Streets," and the Miami public schools
Illinois: trained gang members, community residents, and law enforcement officers
Louisiana: trained youth participating in the New Orleans Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program
Massachusetts: trained at 2 high schools and 6 alternative schools in Boston and the Westover Job Corps Center in Chicopee
Mississippi: trained at a juvenile training school
Nebraska: provided training at Omaha community programs
New York: provided training in the Edgecombe and Gowanda Correctional Facilities as well as the New York Theological Seminary and the New York City high schools
Nevada: trained Las Vegas gang members and students
Oregon: trained law enforcement officers, prison inmates, and high school students
Ohio: trained at 28 public middle and high schools, as well as community programs and State Rehabilitation Corrections, and sponsored Prime Time Basketball
Rhode Island: trained at 12 public schools, a juvenile training school, and 3 state prisons
